Marketing In The News: Applebee's New Burger Promotion

    I was browsing the Marketing Dive website, and there was one post that stood out to me.  As an avid sports fan, I was instantly engrossed in the article featuring an NFL star.  Today I am analyzing the marketing strategy of Applebee's team in the article " Applebee’s taps NFL star as undercover server to promote new burger .  Hello everyone,  My name is Evan Peterschmidt.  I'm a born and raised local of Corvallis OR.  I grew up in a large family with one sister and five brothers.  Growing up with five brothers, I've figured out how to deal with whatevers "thrown" at me.   I am second from the right I enjoy the outdoors, sports, and motorcycles/dirtbikes.  Every summer I backpack/hike a new mountain.  Last summer, I hiked Three Fingered Jack during the wildflower blooms. I'm transfering to OSU in the Fall and this course is required to get my Accounting Degree.  Marketing is very important in todays world and hopefully I can use what I learn in this course to eventually grow my own business.
